Frequently Asked Questions
The Experience
What is the Hospitality On The Beach Nautica Experience?
The Nautica Experience is your chance to experience a drum and bass holiday like never before. Spend your days sailing across the crystal clear Adriatic with a small group of like minded music lovers, swimming in quiet coves and hopping between small coastal villages along the way.
As the week unfolds, the journey leads naturally to Tisno, where the energy builds for three unforgettable nights at Hospitality On The Beach. Think of your yacht as your own boutique hotel at sea, your base for the week to wake up on the water, reset between festival nights and experience the Adriatic from a completely different perspective.
Do I need sailing experience?
Not at all.
Your skipper and crew take care of everything onboard, from navigating the islands to managing daily life on the yacht. Guests are free to relax, explore the islands and enjoy the journey.
Who is this experience for?
The Nautica Experience is designed for music lovers who want to experience Hospitality On The Beach in a completely new way.
It attracts travellers looking for something a little more special — a festival holiday that blends music, travel and adventure into one seamless journey.
What’s included in the trip?
We aim to keep things simple and inclusive.
Your sailing experience includes your professional skipper and crew, all sailing costs including fuel and mooring fees, and meals prepared onboard throughout the journey.
Daily breakfasts and lunches are included, along with selected dinners during the sailing portion of the trip.
On some evenings, guests will have the opportunity to explore and dine at local restaurants ashore.
Flights, airport transfers, travel insurance, festival tickets and meals or drinks on land are not included.
The Journey
Where does the journey begin?
The experience begins in Šibenik, a historic coastal town just north of Tisno.
Guests are welcomed at the marina by the Nautica host team before meeting their skipper and fellow travellers and settling into life onboard. From there, the journey begins with a sail through the spectacular St Anthony’s Channel into the Adriatic.
Where will we sail?
The route explores the islands and bays of the Šibenik archipelago.
Expect turquoise water, peaceful anchorages and charming coastal villages along the way.
How much sailing is there?
Most sailing days involve short, relaxed passages between islands — typically one to two hours at a time.
The focus is on enjoying the journey rather than long-distance sailing, with plenty of time for swimming, exploring and relaxing.
What does a typical day look like?
Mornings often begin slowly with coffee on deck and the first swim of the day.
Late mornings bring a gentle sail to the next island or hidden bay. Afternoons are for exploring ashore, swimming or enjoying long lunches at anchor.
As the week progresses, the rhythm gradually shifts toward the festival nights ahead.
From Sea to Stage
How do the festival nights work?
As Hospitality On The Beach begins, the yacht docks close to the Garden Resort in Tisno.
Guests can head ashore for each night of music before returning to the yacht whenever they’re ready to rest and recharge.
It’s festival energy with the calm of the Adriatic just moments away.
Can I move between the yacht and the festival?
Yes. During the festival portion of the journey, the yacht becomes your base in Tisno. Guests are free to head ashore for the music whenever they like and return to the yacht whenever they want to relax, swim or recharge.
Will the yacht still sail during the festival?
Sailing becomes lighter and more relaxed once the festival begins, allowing guests to enjoy both the sea and the music.
Expect slower mornings, relaxed swims and time to recharge before heading back into the festival each evening.
Is the festival ticket included?
Festival tickets are booked separately unless stated otherwise as part of your package.
This allows guests to choose the ticket type that suits them best.
Your Hospitality On The Beach festival ticket can be refunded if you choose to upgrade to the yacht experience.
The sailing experience ends on 4 July, but your festival ticket remains valid for 5 + 6 July. If you stay for the final two nights of the festival, separate accommodation will need to be arranged.
Can I still attend boat parties and other festival activities?
Yes.
Guests can take part in Hospitality On The Beach’s wider programme, including boat parties, afterparties at Barbarella’s and other festival experiences.
Can friends visiting the festival come onto the yacht?
The yachts are private spaces for guests booked on the Nautica Experience, helping maintain a relaxed and comfortable environment onboard.
Guests are welcome to meet friends ashore at the festival site.
Will there be music on the yacht?
Life onboard is relaxed and social — sunset drinks, shared playlists and the occasional deck session.
The full festival energy comes alive on shore at Hospitality On The Beach.
Can I stay at the festival after the yacht experience ends?
Yes.
The Nautica Experience concludes on Saturday, however your Hospitality On The Beach festival ticket remains valid for the rest of the event.
Guests are free to stay in Tisno and continue enjoying the festival until it finishes.
Do I need to arrange accommodation after the yacht experience ends?
If you plan to stay in Tisno for the remainder of Hospitality On The Beach after the sailing journey ends, you will need to arrange accommodation separately.
Many guests choose to stay nearby in apartments, hotels or accommodation booked through the festival.
Life On Board
What are the yachts like?
Comfortable sailing yachts designed for life on the Adriatic.
Expect cosy private cabins, shared lounge areas and shaded deck space — perfect for relaxing between swims and sails.
Most yachts host 6–10 guests, creating a social but intimate atmosphere.
Will I have my own bathroom?
Many cabins include private ensuite bathrooms depending on the yacht configuration.
Cabins & Bookings
Can I travel with friends?
Yes. Cabins are ideal for couples or friends travelling together.
Groups can also reserve an entire yacht for a private experience.
Can I join solo?
Absolutely.
Many guests travel solo and quickly connect with others onboard. The small group setting naturally creates a welcoming atmosphere.
Can I book a whole yacht?
Yes. Private yacht bookings are available for groups who want the experience exclusively for themselves.
How do I pay?
Places are limited due to the size of the yachts.
Bookings are secured with a deposit, with the remaining balance payable closer to departure. Full payment details will be shared during the booking process.
What’s your cancellation policy?
Deposits are non-refundable as they secure your place on the yacht.
If you need to cancel 60 days or more before departure, you will receive a refund minus your deposit and any transaction fees.
Cancellations made within 60 days of departure cannot be refunded.
Practical Details
What should I pack and how much luggage can I bring?
Life onboard is relaxed and informal.
Bring swimwear, light clothing, comfortable shoes for exploring ashore and your festival essentials. Soft luggage is recommended as storage space onboard is limited.
Is there WiFi onboard?
Most yachts have onboard WiFi, though connection speeds may vary while sailing.
What happens if the weather changes?
Routes and timings may occasionally adjust depending on weather conditions.
Your skipper will always choose the safest and most enjoyable option, ensuring calm waters and beautiful anchorages wherever possible.
Do I Need Travel Insurance?
Yes, we strongly recommend that all guests take out travel and health insurance for the duration of their trip.
Your policy should specifically cover participation in a boat charter or yacht experience, as this is not always included in standard travel insurance policies. This ensures you’re protected in the unlikely event of cancellations, medical needs, or any incidents while on board.
While it isn’t mandatory to join the experience, having the right insurance in place helps ensure peace of mind so you can fully enjoy your time on the water
When does the journey end?
The journey concludes back in Šibenik, where guests enjoy a final coffee onboard before disembarking and continuing their travels.
For those who wish to stay longer at Hospitality On The Beach, it’s also possible to disembark in Tisno and remain for the remainder of the festival.
